Step #2:  From the Tools menu, select Options.

Step #3:  In the Category section, click on the Getting Started icon.

Step #4:  In the Real name field, type your first name and surname, for example Jo Citizen. Your name as you type it here will precede your email address in the From field of any email you send so the email recipient can easily identify you as the sender.

Step #5:  In the Return address field, type your email address username@evenlink.com.  Username stands for your username with our service.

Step #6:  In the Mail Server (incoming) field, type mail.evenlink.com

Step #7:  In the Login Name field, type your username only.

Step #8:  In the Category section, click on the Sending Mail icon.

Step #9:  In the SMTP Server field, type mail.evenlink.com

Step #10: Click OK to close the Options window and save your settings.

Step #8:  Click on the Hosts icon in the Category section.

Step #9:  Check that the POP account field contains username@mail.evenlink.com.  Username stands for your username with our service.

Step #10: In the SMTP field, type mail.evenlink.com

Step #11: Click OK to close the Options window and save your settings.

Step #6:  The remaining fields may be left at their default values.

Step #7:  Click the OK button to close the Configuration window and save your settings.
