Setup Instructions
for Sega Dreamcast

Step #1: After loading the Sega Dreamcast
Passport Browser hit “START” to enter the menu. In Account, select
"USE AN ISP". Choose “OPTIONS”. On this screen select “INTERNET
CONNECTION”.
Step #2: Enter the required information:
Your Real Name:
Your Name
User Login: Your
username
Password: Your
Password
Dial Up Number:
Select a local number from the list below.
Backup Number:
Select another local number from the list below. If there isn’t another
local number just select the same number as before.
DNS Numbers
570 Area Code
Primary - 65.163.169.3
Secondary - 65.163.169.2
610/717 Area Codes
Primary - 63.108.136.2
Secondary - 63.108.136.3
Once this is filled
out, select “OK”.
Step #3: Enter the area code you are
dialing from. Long distance call box can be left blank. If you
have call waiting, check with your phone company for a number sequence for
disabling the service. Usually, *70 will disable call waiting for
one phone call. Otherwise the call waiting box can be left blank.
Leave Outside dial prefix blank. Dial Area Code and Blind Dial can
be left off.
Step #4: You may leave Proxy off.
Select “OK”.
Step #5: Set up your email using the
following settings:
Email Login:
username@evenlink.com
Email Password:
Your password
Email Address:
username@evenlink.com
Incoming Server:
mail.evenlink.com
Outgoing Server:
mail.evenlink.com
Show mail header:
Your preference
Include original message:
Your preference
Step #6: Select “OK” and then select
“OK” once again. Then select “ENTER” and your Sega Dreamcast will
dial up to EvenLink.
