In this section we'll create our very first web page. We'll need two programs to do this with. First, we'll write the contents of the HTML file using a text editor. At the same time, we'll view the same file in a browser to see how it will look when its online.

But first we'll need to create a folder, or directory, on our computer to hold all the contents of our site. If you are familiar with creating folders, go ahead and make one that is easy to find. I'm going to name mine "website," and it will be in the "My Documents" folder.
